A File is a note that sponsors and authoritatively classifies a separate note. A File may have zero or more  Filers and zero or more  Pilers.

Hint

When a header thot is being viewed in Fullscreen and if its note has a File, press the icon to view it.


Phrasing

Consider the example of adding B to thot A, with B describing a note:

  • A has a  File to B
  • A is a  Filer to B
  • B is a  File to A
  • B has a  Filer to A
  • A is a header thot describing a note that is filed under B
  • A is filed under B
  • B sponsors A
  • A is sponsored by B
  • A is a filed note
