This Privacy Policy describes how Thotlink LLC collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Thotlink service and the Thotlink mobile application (“the App”).

Thotlink LLC does not collect, store, access, or transmit any user-generated content (such as notes, images, attachments, or media). All such content remains stored only on your device.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Email address: Used for account creation, authentication, waitlists, and password resets.
Device labels (optional): One or more names or identifiers you provide for individual devices on which the App is installed. Stored solely to support potential future optional backup or synchronization features.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Unique account ID
Installation count: Number of times your account has been used to install the App on a device.

Thotlink LLC does not collect any user-generated content or related metadata.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage accounts
Track installations associated with your account
Store optional per-device labels for potential future backup or synchronization functionality
Provide password resets and account notifications
Manage waitlist participation
Send account-related communications, including security notices and service updates

3. Communications and Your Rights

You may unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the “Unsubscribe” link. Essential emails (security notices, password resets) cannot be unsubscribed.

4. Data Storage and Local Device Data

Thotlink LLC stores only:

Your email
Your account ID
Installation count
One or more optional device labels associated with individual devices

The App stores your notes and uploaded media exclusively on your device. Thotlink LLC has no access to this data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We may share limited account data only:

With trusted service providers (e.g., email delivery systems) under strict confidentiality and security obligations
As required to comply with applicable law
To enforce our Terms or protect the security of our services

6. Security

Thotlink LLC uses reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect account-related information. Data stored on your device—including all user-generated content—is outside Thotlink LLC’s control and is your responsibility to safeguard and back up.

7. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

We retain your account information until you request deletion or as permitted by law. When you delete your account, Thotlink LLC permanently removes your email address, account identifier, installation-tracking data, and any optional device labels associated with your devices from its systems.

Deleting your account does not remove or alter any notes or media stored locally on your device.

8. Children’s Privacy

Thotlink is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or within the App.
